Thu10April Pete Christie is one of our favourite local musicians, and is an audience favourite as well!
He has played here on so many occasions, supporting many different artists including Derrin Nauendorf, Nick Harper, Ruby Turner and Ezio, that it’s about time he got to headline his own show! Please watch this video of Pete playing on the Kyps stage at Bournemouth Live Festival 2007: The format of this night will be quite different to normal - instead of the usual 3 separate acts, Pete will be performing for the majority of the night, bringing a variety of special guests onto the stage to collaborate with him on his own and other people’s songs. Pete has promised a fair few surprises and chances are you’ll have seen one or more of the special guests before, either at Kyps or at other venues around town.This night will be presented in the round on our second stage; an intimate setting with candlelight, live big screen projections and the artists located in amongst the audience, all add up to create a unique atmosphere in which to present acoustic music: |
