Re: Sonic Boom required for floor standers

It's been a while since I posted in this thread but I wanted to give a quick update. Initially I was very worried about the size of my room, and the appropriate sized speakers. I also wanted to get front vented floor standers but was open to suggestions. I listened to Russel K Red speakers, in my l...

Re: PM - Subscription

I suppose questions are:

1. Do you want to keep your speakers or change/upgrade?
2. What's the room size?
3. What's your budget?
4. Do you still want to play CDs are thinking of streaming?

Is it possible that Boris will call an election just before 31st to stop MP's blocking a default no deal exit from the EU?

I'm no expert but I just can't see this happening.

Re: Boris

Or has he always wanted a “no-deal”, but was lying about that during the EU referendum? The idea is that Boris and Co will renegotiate a 'better' deal before 31st Oct and the only way to get the EU to take this seriously is with the realistic threat of a no-deal as the default position. If you can post more (and higher resolution) photos it would be useful thanks. Speaker isolation and placement is very important... 8)

Re: Boris

My question was (slightly) rhetorical however I think most people have had enough of air-brushed Blair/Cameron clones so I think his down to earth character will actually win him much support from the public. His policies are obviously hugely divisive so we'll wait to see if he makes in into 2020 st...

Re: Formula 1

More generally, on the season so far, some interesting stuff is happening. Haas and sauber ( with Ferrari engine), Williams and Racing point ( mercedes engine) seem to be doing much worse than you expect them to do with those engines - is that because the spec of their engines is further behind the...

Re: Muse live

It wasn't quiet.. When I tried to say something to my wife she couldn't hear what I was saying (well that's her excuse anyway). For those who love Genesis with Peter Gabriel, Muse is a bit modern I know but WE really enjoyed it. Sounds good. PA technology mean sound quality can often be much better...

Re: Muse live

I've seen Muse live 3 times and they are an absolute tour-de-force power trio. Matt must be one of the most talented musicians in popular music, amazing guitarist, pianist and singer... makes you sick really ;D Regarding sound levels - noise laws now, in the UK at least, mean that many outdoor shows...
