Factory repairs by Cyrus have a 6 month warranty. I assume the repair was carried out via a dealer so contacting them would seem like the first option. Otherwise contacting Cyrus directly (email) as suggested is the obvious step. They do answer emails pretty quickly.

I used to repair my Cyrus CD player but gave up as I could not buy reliable laser assemblies.
It may be you have a dud laser from the far east ?

Last updated a few years ago, but it certainly has some useful info in it...

Nor friendly answer, using an experience who done it before!
Searching for a week for answers, but nothing!
Its is really very easy to do it by yourself, but must not forget to desolder!
And thought everybody can learn fot this!
Read also someone has a problem with laser DVD, sorry have two of them and done replacement
Earlier with success!
But was desolder by a friend, thats the clue!
He remenber this now!
So can replace a laser in 5 minutes now! Only desolder is bad to see where , afterwards always very simple
when you have the soltution, but not cause of you, sorry to boring you with my question!
