Lost bass on CD sig

Hi
So I seem to have lost the bass from my CDxt sig. turntable and streamer are playing ok. Not sure what to check?

The CDxt is a transport only isn't it, so I guess it must be connected to a DAC somewhere? It's not possible to "lose bass" in the digital domain, so it must be happening in the DAC.

If you have a Cyrus DAC, this is a known problem and there have been several other threads describing it. As far as I'm aware, it can be solved by powering the DAC off and turning it on again. That certainly works in the case of mine...

If you have a Cyrus DAC, first try a factory reset on the DAC.

Restoring factory settings
You can also restore all configuration options to the initial
default settings that were applied at the factory.
NOTE: This operation is not reversible.
To restore factory settings, disconnect mains power from
the unit. Now re-connect mains power while holding down
the Standby key.
