My main office is in Aldershot, so I have a couple of weeks of private fly-bys to look forward to in July from the nearby Farnborough Air show...

Sunderland is our local, but we haven't been for some years, ever since it took us 3 hours to get out of the car park and going by Metro involves a long walk from the station.

Well worth going if you can get there..

Cosford Air Show on Sunday - tickets sold out. We can watch it from our house as it is where the larger planes turn round.

would love to go to that again but it means a 4-5am start due to the dire traffic jams

Took the wife to see the Red Arrows at Llandudno on Saturday for Armed Forces Day.
Had the scanner on so could hear all the action, puuuulllllllll-up, roooollllllllllll-left etc

Also a good day out for the camera, might get one or two worth framing.

They had the war memorial flight and also a Typhoon showing off it's stuff.

The Red Arrows are doing the 100 in smoke this year

That looks like a good one to go to with more than just planes.
Unfortunately we don't live anywhere near, but my wife happened to be passing Llandudno Junction on her way home and saw the memorial flight.
Next years one is at Salisbury I believe..

My Wife's got a bit of a thing for the Red Arrows.
Here dream is to one day fly in one.
I told it's never going to happen.
But we try and watch them whenever we can, We might see them 7 or eight times this year.

All good days out for the camera.

You can maybe do 'next best thing' and book her a flight in a Spitfire.

Only about £3k, just sell off a few spare bits of hifi ;)

A guy I know trains stunt pilots, loop the loop and that type of stuff.

Probably a couple of hundred quid for an hour of aerobatics, not my thing but she really wants to do it.
