Mains Lead

Postby MiniCoupeman » Mon Oct 01, 2018 7:38 pm

I have just read a review of the new ISO3 mains lead. It costs £2750. ( yes £2750). My question is ‘ if I use it to plug in my kettle will my tea taste better?’

No, but the water will boil much quicker! In fact the lack of negative harmonics in the boiling process might actual be detrimental to the brewing process.

Of course it will taste better - we all know that spending ridiculous amounts of dosh on cables will, almost by definition, improve everything.

A lot depends on the quality of the kettle

and of course the "Source" of the tea!

I bought surplus MCRU kits after a show and some extra plugs and sockets. Did the full system with screened cable of the correct length for £87.00.

Yorkshire Tea improved of course.
