Do you have a hifi bucket list?

The list is too long and constantly changing.

Recently I’ve been thinking about second (and third and fourth...) systems.
Sugden a21 with some ProAc. Never heard either, forums say they are a match made in heaven. I’d like to find out.
Leben 300 or 600, not sure about speakers, thought about Harbeth (which I like anyway), forums say Devore, but I think that would be a real stretch in the U.K., but it’s a bucket list right?

I’ve never heard Bryston or Krell and very little MacIntosh, so would like to give them a whirl. Luxman I know I like but would really like the chance to have a proper go.

Quad ESL 57 is an apprpriate space, and some of the all time classic electronics, (like the Sugden above), by Quad, Leak etc.

I think I’d like the chance to hear more equipment in my environment. Shows are all very well, and give us the chance to hear some of the ludicrous and exotic bits and pieces, but would be nice to have a go with some of this at home In your own chair.

I belong to the proac facebook group and recently had a pair of 125 which were marvellous , there are some super bargains about . i did struggle with the bass with the 125 but eventually sorted it . they would be fab with sugden

We had a leben cs600 here not too long ago with my rienzi speakers and while it was good it was slightly harsh at times
i am told the 300 is good with harbeth p3esr

just sold my harbeth shl5plus which sounded amazing at a friends house but try as i might i could not get them to work for me in my 2 rooms , they do not like walls and so a demo in your room is essential . there is HUGE +++++ love for harbeths on FB and i recently got a pair of p3esr which are rather super

Heard the magico A3 this time last year and they were superb , its a great game this

For a while I was considering Harbeth 30.1 and a Nord. Demo’d the Harbeth at KJ West One in London, hooked up to one of the Naim Atom things. I couldn’t pull the trigger. I really wanted Active ATCs, and had been waiting a couple of years already for a pair to turn up at the right price. Finally got the ATCs back in November, they re still in the packaging in my mums living room, I’ve been stuck in Libya and haven’t made it home yet......

mmm nord and harbeth .... not sure that would work , but it might . so glad you have some atc actives waiting . one of the chaps on the wam [ the flash] bought a pair of atc scm40 and almost immediately upgraded to the active version . he is hunting for a pre amp now

my son HATED the shl5plus , he calls them trashbeth . they do not do dubstep which he likes . the tannoy eaton legacy are the same size and can shake the floor with bass if you want . the top end of the harbeth sometimes makes my ears ache BUT i have heard them sound incredible in the right room with the right set up . my the piano was so real and the midrange

I am just now listening to the tiny harbeth p3esr which i got reduced as they were slightly damaged , i ma listening on a 20 year old rotel Ra 820ax worth about 40 quid and they are very liquid sounding . no harshness , just a lovely sweet sound . i prefer them to the bigger one really . and they are tiny ... you could almost get them in your suitcase !!!!

The LP12 of course. Always.
But at the moment mainly a pair of Cyrus X Power.
A pair of Jadis Eurytmie speakers would be nice to have in my derelict factory building as well.

mm never heard of them but i am sure they would sound nice in a derelict factory !!! not sure the damp would do them much good
