Where else do you source your vinyl, as the catalogue is very limited (but good price on a U2 18 album with postage still coming out £7 less than HMV - so thanks!)?

I'm still trying to decide if vinyl is better for me (than streaming / CDs), but it's definitely more "fun" putting a record on.
Don't agree with my comments? - no problem, by all means disagree, but please be polite about it. There's too much anger and hate in the world as it is.

find a good secondhand shop
HMV have regular one off occasional offers in store, like the u2 18 album.

if you have more than 200 LPs get a record cleaning machine

I agree with all the points made. A good second hand vinyl shop is a godsend. I’m lucky to be just a few miles from Reading where there is The Sound Machine which is superb. If you’re anywhere near Sheffield I understand you should be getting a good second hand record store in the not too distant future.

As for the record cleaner, it’s definitely something worth getting if you’re serious about vinyl. I have a VPI 16.5 RCM and although noisy (they all are), it was a great purchase. I also put cleaned records in new anti-static sleeves.

I love my vinyl setup (I have around 800 albums) but I do find streaming to be very convenient. But then I would say that as I just bought a Naim Uniti Star and already own a Stream X Sig.

Thanks Julian, it's been a while since I've posted on this forum. I'm based in Kent these days (although have ventured up once or twice to see Kipper up in Sheffield - but too far to go for a browse of vinyl), so I guess the question is, anyone know of any good 2nd stores in the Kent area - I supposed I should check through the previous topics as I can't imagine I'd be the first to ask this?

When on holiday a couple of years ago I found a second hand record shop in Canterbury. I cannot remember what it was called though I can recall where it was (I walked out of the city centre on the main road and it was just beyond the level crossing on the right hand side).
