2 - 0 is exactly the score I predicted. Amazing, considering I'm Scottish so my football knowledge is obviously woefully lacking...

Will England go all the way? I don't know, but this is the best chance they'll get, and I have to say Gareth Southgate is the best coach they've had in 20+ years. Refreshing to see someone who has the technical ability, the respect of the players, is media savvy, and takes time with the fans. He seems to be genuinely loving the job. More power to his elbow considering the crap thrown at him after missing a certain penalty for England back in the day.

It’s looking promising after watching Russia vs Croatia.
Croatia were the stronger team.
There are still a couple of great teams in the other leg of the competition.

With a little luck, who knows?

Many of my French friends wonder if there will be a France v England final.

I tell them don't worry as Belgium might help them to avoid that.

Yep Southgate has done an fantastic job and the team are playing like a well oiled machine. Oh and what a save by the keeper against Sweden!

However I can't see them winning, they just don't have the outright quality. I'd love to be proved wrong though! 8)
