Fings ain’t what they used to be!

Postby johnandvirginia » Sat May 25, 2019 7:17 pm

I expect most of you know about this but it was news to me. Having switched my system off whilst on holiday I returned to find that I could not access my Innuos Zen using my iPhone.
I tried several times to reboot my router but this did not work. The Zen support page led me to the app Fing. This brilliant little app showed me that my Zen was present on the network but was not being seen by my iPhone. I rebooted the iPhone and everything was back to normal. Thought I would share this.

good to know, who would you rate the Innuos Zen against a good CD player.

Fing has been invaluable to me for checking the network status of various components.

I honestly can’t tell the difference. Innuos Zen sounds brilliant.

Thanks there are many people drifting back, toward CD players from streaming / network players, the Innuos seems to be a game changer in that respect with the ability to be a swiss army knife of sorts, I must demo one if I can, I was looking at a GATO cd player as an option, thanks for the heads up on the 40% discount.
