Just wondering, have you read them?

No, but I've read the bible (intended lower case) and the only way from there can be up. Not intended as a slight to anyone on here - particularly to you Chris, people are different and see things in different ways.

Society of Sound

Hi all,
I think there are a few other users of Society of Sound on here. B&W have updated their website and I can't access the monthly downloads anymore - is anyone else having a similar issue?
Regards,
Jon

That's a Marling album that I don't have, and I thought I had the lot Steve. All of mine have titles. When did it get released?

Must be 4 or 5 years old now Richard (or certainly seems like it). It's an I3-4010u running W7 professional. Mainly used for music duties, occasionally for video.

Look at QuietPC. I got my NUC from there, only hear the fan when it is doing application updates. That being said I use JRiver and not Roon.

Re: StreamX versus Auralic G1

Different rooms, different systems, different ears. It's all subjective. Digital sources do sound different to each other but less so than any other type of component (excluding cables). If both output the same bit perfect data (which is how they should be designed) then they will sound the same. I...

Re: StreamX versus Auralic G1

If two streamers deliver bit perfect data then swapping out one for another will not make a jot of difference to SQ. You're paying for convenience, compatibility, UI etc.

thanks for letting us know , ebay stuff is now always more expensive for bin stuff in my experence , people have to add on the fees Not true always, if you've already sold a few items through ebay you regularly get offers that cap your fees at £1 or £3. Re: Stereo 200 turning off at volume, more power? x300 sig?

How about a ride on lawnmower with a built in entertainment system? Helps you get a new set of wheels to get over the loss of the exotic motor plus some banging sounds played at a high volume, high enough to hear over the noise of the mower engine.
