Well bugger me. RIP Greg Lake

I don't get around here much any more; I'm shocked that no one seems to have lamented Greg Lake having kicked the bucket.

He was the ultimate King Crimson singer and coz of that I cahn forgive him the mega toss that was ELP.

A fine musician  and singer.

Back in Poland - Hey, Hey, Hooray.

Obviously there is much for me to celebrate on my return to my wife and the Heart of Europe. In addition I get to watch my favourite TV show. Max Keiser and Tracy Herbert present a critique of the Wesren Economies with great acumen and a healthy  dose of black humour and evil satire.  It's...

That's a bugger as I've cancelled my Amazon subscription as Netflix is just so much better.  So it goes.

Re: have others had this experience - I'm think I'm finished with upgrades?

I have to agree with robt2379 and Joe. The more I upgrade the more it reveals poor recordings for just that. Its a double-edged sword, as I find myself not listening to music I may like, simply because it sounds "flat" on ...

Frankie Boyle's American Autopsy

I'm confident that many of you will enjoy Frankie's take on the state of US politics.

Rich Hall's Presidential Grudge Match

Rich looks at presidents and presidential competitions/elections from the get go.

Don't just ignore this as Rich is a comedian - the show is enlightening, well informed and well worth watching.  It is funny, but so is the American political system.

A well spent 90 minutes.

and that the North had ears too!
No decent Brass Bands down south laddie! I remember the Harrogate shows well although not as far back as 1959 but that looks like a mono record player in the picture to me. Stereo is far too complicated for women. ...

I like this lass, and love the tune, but not sure about this arrangement. Jane rates it, though, so see what you think.

I'm confused to just what you are after?

Surely best would be to  continue as is, with the Smarties used as mono blocks.

Re: new adam Curtis documentary available now - free to watch

Many thanks for that Callen. Another fine documentary from Curtis.  I can't help but think it would be wonderful if it and Bitter Lake be merged to give a fuller picture - OK it would be five hours or so long, so it goes. I believe that Curtis is not only a fine journalist but an artist of grea...
