Re: 24 bit Streaming Help

If you search the forum there are a huge amount of threads on this topic

Bottom line 16 bit is amazing and 24 normally adds nothing and all depends where the 24 stuff was mastered from

Seriously don’t sweat it and many benefits elsewhere like you have find with clean power !

Re: GDPR

This won’t be sorted for sometime and only just begun I know abit about this as I sell software to companies to help them remian compliant. The fines can be up to 4% of turnover or €20 million! There are many parts to the regulation but one key one is companies need your permission to allow them to ...

Re: Turntable vs Streamer What's best? Analogue vs Digital?

Having had a little look around, I'm pointing towards the Michell GyroDec with a Ortofon cartridge. Are they any good? Any reason not to? I'll invest in some record cleaning equipment or like you say try and get some thrown in with a deal. After writing this post, I just noticed that that's what yo...

Left Cyrus years ago for so many reasons but still check on here from time to time as good like minded friends here.

Re: Roon into cyrus

The nucleus is good if you don’t want to faff about. But an i7 Intel NUC with all the ram you need and the hard drive for Roon and ability to deal with DSP, plus a fanless heat sink case like the nucleus has, can be had for around £600.
