Re: Proselytising Tim Buckley

I first came up with the idea of Tim Buckley in 1964 and had a working prototype in the autumn of '66.
Although he didn't introduce me to Tim Buckley  I must give ROF his due, until he mentioned them in one of his posts I'd never heard of this...

Re: Proselytising Tim Buckley
I have Callen24 to thank for introducing me to Tim Buckley's music - a great find. I led a sheltered life before CU!
For Christ's sake, give me a break, I don't wish to come across as a c*** of the first water - just where do you think Calen 24 found Tim Buckley from - it...

Re: Maybe it's me.....

You should have had a gander in past threads on CU, we've oft held Mr PWB up to ridicule on here.  CDs in deep freezers, green felt tips around the edge of CDs and much more.

What a sad old wanker.

Re: What did you listen to today!

After Swans and Turtles I just had to go to Mark Springer in an earlier fashion.  Here he is on God - Rip Rig And Panic's debut album.  I'm linking to the Youtube of the full album.  I only have it on vinyl, but you can listen to it in all its outrageous magnificence here. https://www...

Re: Mistakes were made...............

I can't possibly offer specific advice. However, my own experience might be interesting. I bought my main gear without hearing any of it in advance. I carefully checked out what could work with what.  I bought my power amp from a CUer, I was lucky enough to spot its matching pre amp on ebay.&nb...

Re: Thought on a possible bake off/ meet up
I would be interested in a meet-up, bring music style.  I am on public transport so bringing gear is not an option for me. I used to enjoy our London meets, and am up for others as long as access is easy for public trans.
I'm with you Chris - the idea of lugging ge...
