This pisses me off as I pay my monthly livence fee and have a home in the UK, frankly I (and I worked for many years in internati...

Re: Stranger Things - Netflix

We wasted quite a few minutes of our life watching this crap.

Steve, if you don't like my opinions then don't read them.  See what I'm doing, once watched or read the cat is out of the bag.

In any event my opinion is just as valid as yours and I post it as a warning.

[quote="SAP7"] [quote="gliderboy9"] All of lemon jelly stuff very good. Shame they stopped - their website was saying sleeping but not dead, or similar words for some time. One of them went back to his art studio. Hopefully they will re emerge sometimes. I like the track 'Staunton lick' I think off ...

Re: What did you listen to tonight?

Lovely fat sound with Alison Mosshart's vocals sounding excellent and to the fore - what's not to like.

Re: Proselytising Tim Buckley

The Allmusic bio is also well worth a read:- Artist Biography by Richie Unterberger One of the great rock vocalists of the 1960s, Tim Buckley drew from folk, psychedelic rock, and progressive jazz to create a considerable body of adventurous work in his brief lifetime. His multi-octave range was cap...

Re: What did you listen to tonight?

This side of the Channel it's after 6pm-so I guess it qualifies as evening.  After a wondrous bunch of my 60's faves earlier today; we jump forward to Chris Isaak's Forever Blue from 1995:- http://cps-static.rovicorp.com/3/JPG_500/MI0002/034/MI0002034264.jpg?partner=allrovi.com

Re: What did you listen to today!

A bit of a 60s fest today, included Led Zep IV and III, Cream's Disraeli Gears, the original Fleetwood Mac - And then Play On, 10:18 of Pali Gap, from Rainbow Bridge - to my mind the ultimate post spliff Jimi track. Followed ( so far) by Kenny Rogers' I just Dropped in to See What Condition My Condi...

Re: The Lost Honour of Christopher Jeffries

Steve, I thought I had already posted on this wonderful dramatisation which I watched a few weeks ago when I was in the UK.

I remember the poor sod giving evidence (including the label on his suit sleeve) at the Leveson inquiry.
