Arctic Monkeys - Tranquility Base Hotel + Casino

Postby caine » Mon May 21, 2018 5:48 pm

A huge departure from the Arctic's past offerings. Seriously good album with overtones of many artists presentations, backed by Alex Turners unmistakely lyrics. Managed to listen to it on my PC/meridian explorer/HD650 setup and in the B&O system in the car. Can't wait to get it on the big system when I've got some time to give a decent listen.

I got 4 tracks in and gave up. I’m not a big enough fan to persevere but fair play to them for evolving.
Michell Gyro Dec, Tecnoarm, Ortofon Rondo Blue, Project Phono Box RS + Power Box.
Aurender N100H, Chord Hugo TT.
Luxman L-590AX II, PMC Twenty 26.

Patience pays.

It takes a few listens. Then it sticks. Don’t quit after one flip.
