Yes, but is the "new" investor SMS? The original notification said SMS had taken a significant minority shareholding describing it as a "strategic partnership" but said nothing about moving production. Really looking forward to seeing the fruits of these changes...

It also generates inward investment and allows Cyrus’s Cambridge-based team to focus on developing its core technologies for a new generation of products and customers.

perhaps we didn't realise the full implications of the link up with SMS

New products sounds interesting. As an owner of some of the signature boxes, I'm keen to know if Cyrus are going to bring out new products at this level, or go for the mass market (or both - which has traditionally been their product philosophy).
Main system: [Audio] MonoX300, Spendor A9, Cyrus signature CD, Cyrus signature DAC (with PSX-R2), Cyrus signature streamer. [AV] Oppo105, Mono X300 + Spendor C5 (centre), MonoX + spendor (surround), Monitor Audio sub.
Bedroom system: Cyrus signature CD, Cyrus DAB, 8XPD (qx), Awaiting Spendor A1

If it was up to me, I'd home in on the niche ("audiophile") market with some really high quality stuff.
I think the mass market is well and truly saturated .
