Glad the system is coming together Steve. I tried a pair of TQ ultra black speaker cables and they were awful. I did put thoughts on a review though maybe one of the old CU posts since deleted. They Really starved the sound the sound acting like an attenuators which I know Townshend cables can do also. They seem to patch up problems in a badly matched systems. Got a bit of backlash about it at the time. In an open and balanced system they mess with the sound chronically. At the time I think I had a few pair of speaker cables and everyone of them bettered it including the mark grant terminated van damme.
